We make new friends each time we do a wedding. Often we hear nice comments about the band during and after our performances. Occasionally, someone is kind enough to send us a letter or e-mail. Below are comments from one particularly nice letter we received from Joe and Janine Pizza, married on July 7 at Chateau Granieri in Jeffersonville, PA. (quoted with permission). Joe played piano and sang Billy Joel's "She's got a way" to his bride at the wedding and, and as they say, there wasn't a "dry eye" in the place. Here are some of his remarks about the reception:
"...Before too much time has passed, I wanted to thank you, Vance and everyone in the band for helping to make our day a very special one. You guys were really great! I've been getting compliments from many people on how good the band was. I was even told that some people from the wedding downstairs...were coming up to ours because we had a band and everyone was having a great time."
"You were easy to work with, fun and did a great job getting people onto the floor...We were very glad you were able to do our wedding and will certainly refer you every chance we get."
